Motorcycle catches fire after crash in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcycle burst into flames after it was involved in a crash with a car in Salt Lake City.
The incident happened on 1300 South Saturday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post from the Salt Lake City Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 81, the motorcycle was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene.
Additional units were called out and the fire was eventually extinguished.
Officials said the motorcyclist was able to transport himself to the hospital.
Details about his injuries were not immediately available.
