5 arrested in Woods Cross home drug bust police say

WOODS CROSS, Utah— Woods Cross Police along with South Davis Metro SWAT served a search warrant at a home this morning near 1300 South and 700 West.

Adam Osoro, the Assistant Chief of Woods Cross Police Department said the house was a known drug house that detectives had been working to bust.

“Its kind of like a spot where we respond and take action,” Osoro said. “The players change, but this house has been a problem for sometime.”

There was a concern that the occupants in the house would be violent so SWAT was involved, forcing their way into the home.

Five people were taken into custody and Osoro said several more arrests will likely be made.
