Three men facing disorderly conduct charges after staging kidnapping for YouTube video

WEST JORDAN, Utah — Three men were charged with disorderly conduct after staging a kidnapping for their YouTube channel Saturday afternoon.
Sgt. Brian Schaff with the West Jordan Police Department said they received calls of a person being kidnapped and worried for their well-being around 7000 South between Redwood Road and 2200 West around 3 p.m.
The callers noticed a man with their hands bound behind their back and a hood over their head while being carried by two other men.
Schaff said when police arrived and located the men, they found out that the three men were staging a skit for their YouTube channel.
All three of the men were charged with disorderly conduct without further incident.
Schaff did not have the name of the YouTube channel they were making the video for.
