Major highway closures in Davis County this weekend

DAVIS COUNTY, Utah — There are closures coming to some major highways in Davis County this weekend.
Starting at 10 p.m. Friday, Legacy Parkway will close in both directions between Parrish Lane in Centerville and Park Lane in Farmington.
The closure will last until 5 a.m. Monday.
Traffic will be diverted to I-15.
COMMUTERS: Legacy Parkway will close from Parrish Lane in Centerville to Park Lane in Farmington tonight (9/16) at 10PM to Monday at 5AM. Traffic will be detoured to I-15. Closure will allow crews to install new storm drains as part of construction on the West Davis Highway.

There’s another traffic change this weekend affecting part of US-89. Both directions will be closed starting at 9 p.m. between Oak Hills Drive in Layton and 400 North in Fruit Heights.
Traffic will be directed to the East Front Range Road.
The road will reopen also at 5 a.m. Monday.
COMMUTERS: Bridge work will necessitate full closure of US-89 from Oak Hills Drive in Layton to 400 North in Fruit Heights from 9 p.m. Sunday (9/18) to 5 a.m. Monday. Prior to the closure, the highway will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning Sunday at 7 a.m.
