Winter Storm Forces Several Major Road Closures

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — A winter storm is making its way through Utah Monday.
Some areas along the Wasatch Front are expected to get 4-8 inches of snow while the mountains could get 15-25 inches.
A winter storm warning is in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Several crashes have been reported throughout the state, including a semitruck rollover on I-84 near Mountain Green, according to a Facebook post from Morgan County Fire & EMS. Westbound lanes on I-84 are closed from Mountain Green exit 92 to exit 96.

Information about whether any injuries were reported was not immediately available.
Little Cottonwood Canyon will close at 10:30 a.m. due to avalanche control, Unified police said.
Eastbound I-80 at Parleys Canyon is also closed until crews can clear the roadway, Utah Highway Patrol troopers report.
In Daggett County, U.S. Highway 191 is closed near the Utah-Wyoming border.
The Unified Police Department Canyon Patrol is also asking drivers to avoid canyons Monday morning due to extreme weather conditions.
