Women Charged With Offering Sex Acts At Orem Massage Parlors

OREM, Utah – Two women have been arrested in two separate incidents in Orem after police alleged they offered more than just massages at local parlors.
According to a probable cause statement, investigators with the Orem Police Department received reports of workers offering sex acts in exchange for additional money at Healthy Massage, located at 390 South State Street.
Comments found in an online forum for massage parlors also appeared to suggest the same, police said.
Officials said undercover officer went to the parlor and paid $60 up front for a massage. The probable cause statement said a woman, subsequently identified as 45-year-old Chun Yun Liang, indicated for the man to remove his underwear by tugging at his waist band.
“Moments later the (undercover officer) was turned onto his back and the female indicated by pointing at the (undercover officer’s) genitals if he wanted them massaged,” police wrote. “The (undercover officer) asked the cost of this service and the female indicated $40 extra.”

Before other officers could respond to an audio “bust” signal, the document stated that the woman grabbed at the undercover officer inappropriately.
Police said they discovered Liang did not have a valid masseuse license. She was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor offer to commit a sexual act for a fee and unlawful massage.
It marked the second arrest in less than 10 days.
Another jail booking statement said a man went to the Joy Massage parlor located at 1643 South State Street on January 21. The statement said a masseuse indicated toward his midsection and asked, “You want me to touch you there?”
Though the man said no over and over, police wrote that the woman grabbed him inappropriately multiple times.
After he got dressed and attempted to leave, the document stated that another woman demanded a $20 tip for the service he received.
“The victim describes getting in a confrontation with the female, telling her he was not going to pay a tip and that what they were doing at this establishment was illegal, and that he was never coming back,” police wrote.
Police subsequently arrested the woman, identified as 46-year-old Li Gong.
On Tuesday, prosecutors charged Gong with Class A misdemeanor counts of sexual battery, offer to commit a sexual act for a fee, and unlawful massage.
Both women claimed in their interviews with police that they did nothing illegal during the massages, according to court records.
