Sunday Edition: Inauguration, Virtual Legislative Session, Lawmakers Threatened

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – We head into this next week still with a lot of questions about what is next for our country and state. The inauguration set to take place this week, as well as the start of the virtual Utah legislative session.
Utah legislative leadership talks about what the online session will look like and what impact it will have on participation for residents. We also are looking at the vaccine rollout here in Utah.
Across the country, health departments have struggled to get vaccine from the shelves into bodies of people who need it most right now. We look at what our local health departments need most.
After violence at the U.S. Capitol, there have been reports of legislators being threatened by people who do not agree with them – largely legislators who have been critical of the president these last few weeks. We speak with Rep. John Curtis who this week received a flyer on his door, calling him a traitor.
