She joined the team in 2023 after working for SLUG Magazine in Salt Lake City writing music reviews and covering local arts, events and culture. She was the host and producer of the SLUG Soundwaves podcast in 2023 and continues to publish work in SLUG and other local publications as a freelance writer. After studying Music Education at the University of Utah, Mary worked as a business leader, helping to run sales operations for multiple e-commerce companies.
